Faeq graduated with honours from the National University of Malaysia in 2021. After completing his pupillage focusing in Criminal and General Civil Litigation at Messrs. Yusof Rahmat & Co., he was admitted to the High Court of Malaya in 2022. Since September 2022, Faeq practiced law at Messrs. Razmien & Co., specializing in Criminal and General Civil Litigation.

In addition to his legal practice, Faeq actively participates in pro bono work as a Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaan (YBGK) lawyer and serves as a panel lawyer for the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM). These roles allow him to contribute positively to society, particularly in advocating for the rights of the underprivileged.

As of January 2024, Faeq has taken on a new role as a Legal Associate at Amin-Tan & Co., where he continues to bring his dedication to justice and humility to his legal endeavours. Grateful for the opportunities to contribute both professionally and through pro bono efforts, he remains a compassionate advocate for societal well-being in the complex landscape of legal practice.
